600x2 rms amp?????

i am looking for an amp that will run 600x2 watts rms at either 2 or 4 ohm. i was looking at the orion 1200d amp but on the info it only says at x1 and i was wondering if it would work like if i cut it in half or something. my diamonds just arent cutting it at 410 watts rms and i would like around 500-600 watts rms and my subs are either 2 or 4 ohm and the subs are diamond cm312.2 thanxs alot if anyone knows any good amps that are about 300-400 bucks that will run 600 watts for me thanxs alot

What's the problem with getting a mono amp for your subs?

x2 there are plenty or amps that run 1200 x1 which would be perfect for your application

i didnt know if i could run a mono amp like that. and if i did how many ohms would it be at or would all amps be diff. thanxs alot guys. i would rather get a mono but i didnt know if it would run both subs. and also do u know any amps that would be about 600x2 rms. thanxa lot

you can run 2 subs off one channel mono. but if you get an a/b 2 channel amp, in my experience, you will get better sound quality, but it will be less efficient.

it differs...you can get a mono amp at 1 or 2ohms to run in your application

There are some amps that will run 600watts RMS x2 at 4ohms, they are custom made and worth thousands of dollars, not really an option.

You need to read up on series and parrellel wiring, you can run as many speakers as you want off of a single channel so long as the speakers are wired to provide an impedance the amplifier is capable of handling.
