I have a question regarding PPI’s older PC series amplifiers. I’m looking at picking one of these up to run my front comps, and I’ve come across a few with “.2†at the end of the model name; for instance: PC4800.2
Though I haven’t found any pictures to verify, it sounds like the .2 models have a different color heatsink (presumably something other than the standard PPI grey). I know that PPI released some chrome-plated PC amps a while back; does the .2 refer to these? If not, what distinguishes them from the standard PC line?
Also, if anyone wishes to list any experiences they've had with the PC series before I move on with a purchase (if I decide to take that route), I’d appreciate the input.
