PPI Art series

I would like to get a collection of these amps, and looking for information on them. Looking to get a total of 7 channels, 3-way front stage and a sub.
How underrated are they? Early to mid 90's series. All the info or suggestions you have would be appreciated.
They do rated power and are fully regulated down to 10 volts. The o/s ZED amps are some of the best ever made.

I never considered them under rated. Although they are rated at 12 volts and not 14 like most modern amplifiers. I think most people are shocked when they hear a clean 100 PPI watts compared to a noisy 100 no name watts. More music and less noise SOUNDS louder.

I'm also a big old school PPI fan. That being said, I will also admit that there are plenty of cheaper amplifiers with noise levels low enough to compete with them. Especially if you figure in all the processing/tuning a competition system will receive.

I'm just going to go out on a limb and say this:

That post will be the most beneficial and intelligent remarks made today on this forum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif

X2 and X3

Don't stop your quest to get these amps though. The art series look great and I love the black ones.

Certainly this is true, however the Art series is one of the best looking amplifiers to ever be produced, which is important to me. Others will disagree with my amp choosing criteria; Thats fine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I am looking for the white series though, they're prettier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I've still have a few art series processers if intrested a very nice 3way crossover and a NIB noise gate...I think I still have a couple of first series amps 2030's but I'd have to dig for them....
PM all the info you have. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
