I am pretty firm on 110 shipped for it in the cont. 48. I just got brand new plug ins for it.

I will only go with paypal, and I will ship first since I'm new here if the buyer has good feedback.

This amp was used in a marine application prior to my owning it, and it has a few light corrosion and rust spots on it. Overall I'd rate it at a 7/10. It works perfectly, I tested it today. It has been sitting in my garage for at least the last 5-7 years, honestly, I can't remember. It has been a long time though. The inside looks absolutely spotless as you can see in the pics.

It sounds better on my arc audio fd6000's than my jl audio e4300 does. If it was a 4 channel, I wouldn't be selling this amp.

Thanks

Kenneth

I opened it when I first got it a long time ago to make sure there was no corrosion on the board itself. I broke the seal, because at the time it didn't matter to me. It was better to break the seal and make sure I was getting a good condition amp than to buy some corroded piece of crap. When I cleaned the amp up before taking pics, I removed the rest of the seal and sticky residue.

whats the crossover set at on it? i see there's no adjusting the crossover. im not to familiar with the art series.
There is no crossover. All that is done from another source with this amp. That's the beauty of it. All it does is put out power to the signal, it doesn't alter it in any way.

Indeed.

And again, about the amp being opened.... how many amps have you seen on this site with the cover off to get a pic of the inside? I have personally seen tons of em, and I am a pretty new member. There is NOTHING wrong with the functionality of this amp. I broke the seal before I bought it to check the board, and I never even used it aside from powering it up when I got it to make sure it worked, and then testing it today when the new power plugs came in.

This still hasn't sold??? Thought this thing would be gone in a matter of minutes at that price, awesome old school amp.

Any trades?
I really don't need anything else for car audio... I would like a better headunit, but I don't want to add any money to it. I have a Pioneer deh 6600, so it's hard to better than that for the money I am asking. The main reason I am selling this is so I can have a little more money to get my superjet running again. I really don't want to sell this amp as it is a classic, but I haven't used it since I got it, and I am not thinking that I will. I bought it only because it was a popular amp at the time with a cult like following at a great price.

About the only thing I could see trading for would be an mp3 player with decent capacity (3rd gen ipod crapped out on me a while back) or portable navigation system.

did you open it up just for pics?
If that seal was intact before you opened you just made a big nono!
that amp has no warranty left on it....lol.... it almost a antique . it was made in 1996..

breaking the seal does nothing....

if i had the cash right now i would buy it in a heartbeat.........

Indeed. It's long out of warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

And bump for the night.
