powering audio system by ac power

I remember seeing competitors running off generators at shows; also running off ac power with their show car at Circuit City. I want to know how it is accomplish? I plan on doing it myself because I don't want to have my car running all day long. Anyone with the knowledge please help because I'm new the car audio scene. Thanks.

You can look around at most RV places. I have one, that puts out about 80 amps. Iota is one manufacturer that has some equipment. I leave my car hooked up to mine all the time, but I don't drive it everyday.
