keep blowing my fuse

ccan anyone help me out..... i just hooked up a 1200 w 12 inch sub and a 1000 w amp in my dodge intrepid..... to my head unit.... the fuse in the amp keeps blowing anytime i play a song with good bass.... anyone know where i need to make my adjustments.....

the bass on the head unit is all the way down and the amp fuse keeps going on me

you have a short somewhere along the length of the wire. Check it all to make sure there are no tears in the insulation.

the line is fine i checked....... the thing will play till i push it to high ... or a song puts out too mucch bass.... i was just wondering if i need to adjust the settings on the amp somewhere ..... it will work most of the time just blows when there is a spike... should i turn down the out put on the amp or turn down the bass boost.... thanks for whatever help you ccan give

should have bass noost off anyways seems like you fuses are too small!!

what model of amp? What gauge of power wire? What's the fuse size on the power wire? How are you grounding it? What Ohm load is the amp seeing?
