why dont you just get a couple of them, and run them off of seperate breakers? Id imagine three of them would be able to power plenty of head units, and about 4-6 small to mid sized amplifiers.
That would work, theres just the other small issue that my boss is a bit of a cheap skate and getting him to spend the kind of money that a couple of them will cost prolly won't happen.

A cheap way of doing it would be doing something similar to what Db187 suggested - a battery bank. If I were wanting to do it cheap, id buy 7-8 900 CCA batteries from walmart and wire them all in parallel. Then just put that power supply in parallel with them too. That way, it will charge the batteries and the whole thing will be one re-charging power bank.

I feel like thats not a solution to overlook since your equipment is there for demo purposes and won't be running all the time.

We just have an Optima d34 and a 46A power supply right now, but we are moving into the new sound room soon.

We are going to a pair of Kinetik HC2400's and a KIPS12-80 (80A power supply).

I have to wire everything up soon. New MTI Intuition system w/ 10 Hu's, 10sets speakers, 10-12amps, 8-12sub boxes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Thats the same one we have right now.

Works good w/ mid sized amps...gets stressed on over 1000wrms though.

But you really only use it for short times. We did have one fry on us awhile back.

The new one is holding up fine though.

Wiring is fun when it doesn't need to be done under carpets and trim panels.

You sure about that one:confused:

You should see everything I have to wire up:wow:

The nice thing is that we will be the only shop in the area w/ a touch-screen switching system.

Back in the day we used a box fan motor to spin a large Stinger alternator which fed our sound board. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Before that we only had a midget on a stationary bike to spin it.
