They are fairly cheap and I seen goo write ups about them anybody done any real world test are they any good I'm torn between two of the pb 15s or two sundown sa12s

If you really have to ask Sundown over Powerbass you should be pistol whipped.

Yes I know PB has ID technology now but, IMO it doesn't count because its not like they came up with it on their own and the way ID was dissolved into a PB subsidary just makes me sick from an entrepreneurial standpoint. I feel bad for Eric Stevens and all the blood sweat and tears he poured into that company, just to have his partner sell everything off.

they are good budget subs and they tend to lean towards sealed boxes. i had a pair of L10s a few years back and i can compare them with the daytons everyone talk about but that was before the pbid situation and their products have changed quite a bit presently.

personally id run 1 z15 before the 2 powerbass subs or the sa12s i absolutely love my z12s

PB has nice amps. They also have great budget subs. However the only product of theirs I would compare to sundown would be the 3xl. I have never owned one but I've seen a couple of them here and there and from what I can tell they will probably hang with some of the best. I would go with sundown in this case tho
