powerbass amps?

Any thoughts on powerbass amps? Are they rated for higher than what they actually put out? Thinking of getting this because i need an amp that puts out 400watts @ 2ohms.

A few threads in here claim that caps fall right off the boards under heavy vibration.

i run the powerbass xa 4000d on my two 18'' BL's and that thing is a beast, and they are very underrated on there power. very good amps IMO

if im not mistaken that was on the slightly older amps a year or two ago?

all of the ones i have played with i have been very happy with. they are very solid and for the price you honestly cant beat them imo

You're also talking about the Xtreme line, they're a whole different animal than the regular PowerBass. I had an XA-3000D in my car, it was a beast

The factory says they're strappable......they're not.....things fry

That's good feedback cause I'm looking at the 5 channel for the second car:laugh:

I say a dude at a bass race running a pair of treo 12's off of a big newer powerbass amp and the shit slammed.
