DIYMA R12/CDT CL60/MBQuart DSC4125 good idea?

Ok, so I'm going to be purchasing a whole system soon, and this is my latest idea. It's going to go into a 2003 civic coupe. I listen to rock almost entirely; no rap. I currently have a pioneer DEH-P3800MP HU to power the system. So here's what I'm thinking:

Sub: DIYMA R12 in a 0.5 cu.ft. sealed enclosure. - recommended 500-1000W @ 4Ohm

Comps: CDT CL60 (6.5" convertible to coax) - handles up to 130W

Amp: MB Quart DSC4125 - 125Wx2@4Ohm + 500Wx1@4Ohm

I'm pretty set on the sub, somewhat confident about the Comps and I have no idea about the amp.

Do you see any problems with this setup?

If you are a basshead who is into SPL, I totally recommend staying away from the DIYMA R12. I was going to get one until a couple of friends said that I would fold the aluminum cone over on itself.

I don't listen to rap, but I do listen to Drum and Bass along with Rock, Metal, breakbeat, and house..... I don't care for commercial rap, or cRap as I like to call it which is nothing more than bad poetry to a beat.

The DIYMA can handle power, and can get pretty loud, or loud enough to be able to localize it.

We listen to similar music, though I usually stay on the metal side of things, and a single DIYMA powered by my 5002 (565W RMS) is plenty of output for me.

Is the cone fragile? That depends. Is it fragile when you cram it in a .5 cube box and throw 1K+ watts at it, most definitely. Is it fragile when you have it in a 1.0 cube box with 500watts? Not at all.

With the power you have, I'd lean closer to 1.0 cube than .5 cube.

as mentioned above from what i have heard 1 cubic ft is the sweet spot for these subs.

i recently purchased one and cant wait to hear it. im very eager to compare it to my idmax //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
