Power wire causing amplifier output signal to distort?

could be a tear in the speaker wiring and its grounding out slightly somewhere. Could also be RCAs bad. You already eliminated the amp and head unit out of the equation. There's only a few left. Also did you install the RCA on the opposite side of the power wire or the same side?
I installed the RCAs from the middle between the seats, and the power wire goes under the left side door scuff, so it shouldn’t interfere with the signal. The distortion is still present even when i tried a different speaker with its own wires on the amp.

post video of said distortion so we get a better idea. So far it definitely sounds like an RCA problem from what you stated.

Here I've got two short examples, the distortion doesn't come through the microphone as much, but it can be heard that the sound comes out a bit harsh. First with the piano, and the second with the whistle.

Songs that appear in the video are:
"Like You Love Me" by Conro
"To Hell and Back" by Sabaton

i dont hear anything thats distorted because the mic cant pick it up but you dont have bad distortion most likely its your vehicle acoustics causing spikes in the frequency response due to reflections in the vehicle

Well that most likely plays a factor in the overall sound, but the again, i don’t get any distortion when i use the head units speakers outputs.

You're driving the speakers with less power off the headunit. It's certainly possible that it's your crossovers being out of phase or overlapping/cutting at poor locations.

Does the distortion go away with less volume?

Also try adjusting your crossovers on one set of speakers at a time. I.e. the LPF on the mids change it from 2k to 2.5k or tweeters HPF in the same manner. If you can, try different crossover slopes.

your speakers arent being driven as hard with the head unit. When you start getting to the upper limits of what the amp can do or your speaker's limits, it'll start sounding like **** and distorted. Acoustics will multiply this effect tenfold.

I think you will be just fine to be honest. Id run it and check it after hammering on it quite a bit and check the temp on the wire by hand to see...

If you have multiple amps you do not need to run a power wire from each amp to battery.. You can have a single run of wire with a distribution...
