the power hx2 will be louder because it is more spl orientated than the w7, the w7 will sound better though

if money isnt an object go with the W7, you'll be happier in the long run. Its a great sounding driver. Also them W7's are tricky subs, I believe they are 3ohms so you need to take that in consideration too when you're matching up the amps.

i dont know which one will be better but i think that it will be a contest. but well have to wait because i dont think im getting it netime soon. I think you got me on the loudness.

Nah, just find an amp that does full power @ 4ohms mono. The PG Tantrum 1200.1 comes to mind!
