power amp

Yeah. One run should be fine, use all 3 conductors for the power if using 12/3AWG, if using 10/3AWG, I would recommend using 2 for power, and the designated ground as a ground connection up front and back, but be sure to chassis ground the connection in back as well.

2 10AWG=20.8kcmil, .33V drop on 17' run

3 12AWG=19.5kcmil, .35V drop on 17' run

Personally, if you have enough and it's free, I would do 2 runs of 10/3, being 4 10AWG = 4AWG, and the two 10AWG ground connectors would be the same as 8AWG. (Technically closer to 7AWG)

Laugh at me, I have 4 runs of 4/0AWG copper house service wiring. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And, I got my wire by being at the right place at the right time. I bought 100' of Cu 4/0-4 for $1 a foot when a local electric co closed down. Fun stuff. Aluminum works, but isn't worth crap compared to copper. xD
