Hey guys

I was looking at this one but the specs seem unreal.

No, its not. It had/has the same problems as the SS 3500. Stay far away. I personally went through 4, and out of that 4, 3 fried without playing music.

do you have two dual 2 ohm subs ? you could run a 20.1 at 1/2 ohm

yes check out these amps. Very nice. Will give you the power you want.

i was also looking at getting the sl-5500, but wisely decided against it. bottom line is you get what you pay for. if you really need that kind of power dont be cheap about. it probably puts out just shy of rated power but you will blow it, and it will run hot and you'll probably end up buying a better amp later on any way. you can find some real nice quality amp in the classifieds that are taken care of for reasonable prices. just keep an eye out.
