I like it. I would have preferred even higher end components but I thought these sounded good in person. I don't know about the Alpine R series but they recommended those.

That's all that matters. I got the type r components and love them. There was people telling me that the type r ***** and gave suggestions, but they sound good to me

But for 199 there are better coax, imo. Not saying the type r would sound bad.

Since you've heard what they offer and you liked it, I hope you also liked the shop and the general attitude and presentation of the staff. If they do good work and they stand behind it that's worth so much more than any money you could save up front by ordering online.

everything is priced standardly exept for the alpine type R coaxials thats a pretty big mark up for coaxials. The 6.5 type R components are 150, coaxials should not cost 50 more then components. why not get matching focal coaxials Amazon.com: Focal Access 165 CA1 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speaker Kit: Car Electronics

I'm sure there is, but at the moment when I bought them, they were in the shop and sounded great to me. I haven't had one regret.
