Actually, you want to load the drivers side if the meter is placed on the passenger side. If you're going to flip it around, have the port on the drivers side. The same thing if it is firing to the rear, you will more than likely gain by having the port firing on the driver's side but that means it won't be as loud to your ears being in the driver's seat.
If you're looking to hide you stash in the Integra, the spot between the rubber flaps on the e-brake is where I keep everything. You can't see in there and it's difficult to feel it by hand unless you're really digging. Most cops won't go there and it's pretty central so it will help keep odor down from the dogs. Those dogs are crazy though... I had a k9 unit park right next to my car one night and when I went to leave, it was barking like crazy at the window facing my car. I didn't have anything in there at the time so I don't know if it was residual or just barking for the hell of it. Crazy stuff.
