aero port enclosure question

Will 1 4" port be enough for 2 10" cerwin vega vmax subs. I was thinking of making a 3 c.f. box with a 4" port on the side. If i use 2 they will be to long and hit the subs. Also is 3 ft. net to big for 2 10's

3 ft net is fine, but i would at least do 1 6" port

if he did that he would still need a longer port to offset the extra port area he has added. one 6" is like two 4" in area, so the length would probably still need to be somewhat the same.

give it a try with one 4" port and see if you like it.

he can use 3 3inch aeroport...its 21.195 square inches...1 4inch aeroport is 12.56 square inches ....1 6inch aeroport is 28.26 square inches

So does 3 cubes sound right for 2 10's.Currently i have them in 2.6 c.f box with 2 3" ports.It sound pretty good but i want to change it to a side firing port and foward firing woofers. I think these subs will get louder than they do now with the right enclosure
