even from the bank. they get fake shit too sometimes. a lady i work with got a fake $100 from the bank and went to the store and found out it was fake. the bank made it right though.

i didn't know that could be faked... and yes i do look at every bill. i have been fcked before. and if i think its fake they get it back, or mark it with that marker deal they have

Counterfeiting is a huge business. There are certain things on bills that are almost impossible to counterfeit though so you can almost always tell one with a magnifying glass or the marker works well.

Thats a good practice to keep. I personally deal with very little cash so I dont bother checking most of the time.

m1 and m2 are measures of the supply of money...as in coins and dollars...etc. (I could get more technical, but I won't)
Currency is different from money in how it is measured.

For us to go to...say the euro, would take an act of Congress..

However, there is nothing at all illegal about making your own currency. You can make 2002XLT currency. While you couldn't force people to accept it, it is perfectly legal to do so.

It wouldnt work on a small scale though. Basically it would strictly turn into him giving away his stereo equipment as soon as someone needed him to fulfill his debt.
