Technically the term cash engulfs all kinds of cash, including counterfeit. Now if you would have said real cash that would have been different. But in that case real money orders would be the same thing. And its tough to send via mail or sometimes even to differentiate in person. seriously you can see if its counterfeit easily enough. Not that hard.

I would think $1 bills are impossible to track...as far as I know they have no security in them and no one will check them for counterfeit...certainly can't get rich on them but you could buy a lot of burgers over your lifetime with them.

My ex works at a bank and they used to get some really good fakes. Some would even have watermarks.
