And to whoever said that a real 4WD has a frame - that is a very false statement. My car has a frame. Last time I checked, it was missing a transfer case and a front differential. I would like to add that IFS is for pussies.

I can definitely respect an Xterra. I don't think the "X" is for "4X4" though. It's for "Cross Terrain." You can't spell "4x4" without "Jeep." I'll take my solid front axle over a frame and IFS any day. You can always add unibody stiffeners to make it more rigid.

 
Like I said, it's totally a personal thing. And the X thing was a joke! The jeep world and the xterra world will always try do outdo each other. Everyone thinks their stuff is king. At the end of the day, if you're happy with it, that's what matters.

 
I know my rig's not king by any means. I have open diffs, short arm suspension, and only some protection. I do plan on locking the rear in the future, getting some sliders (which will finish off my armor), and stiffening the unibody. It'll probably stay on short arms for a while. I built my rig to be a decent daily driver and weekend warrior. I do drive it and wheel the crap outta it. I have respect for most rigs, with the exception of huge, full size pickups, that never go offroad and even if they did would be good for nothing, and rigs that people build (buy) that never see dirt.

It's either on the last page or the one before. I quoted the guy with the MJ. It's got 4.5" of Iron Rock Off Road lift, adjustable IRO trackbars front and rear, front and rear, upper and lower IRO control arms, JKS Quicker Disconnects, factory skids, factory tow hooks/towing package, 31" Duratracs, 15x8 soft 8s, and a front diff skid. It's got a Magnaflow performance cat and muffler that really let my 5.2 song. I also have some interior stuff, mostly ditching the leather for cloth. Eh, here. Look at this...
