Post your grades.

But thats the thing, there is no "getting in". No re-applying. You're already in the program, so like many other programs, its just basically maintaining a higher than passing (I believe its a C+ average or above and passing all classes) grade. Only other time you'd have to maintain a 3.5 or above when already IN a program is if you have a scholarship that puts other requirements on top of your major.

Remember, to get into pharmacy school to begin with I had to have very high grades, a good SAT score, essay, and references. Now they honestly just want you to pass. Hah god knows theres not enough pharmacists being pumped outta school around here with just Rutgers as the only school in Jersey with the PharmD program.

Yes, and that rocks for you. Congrats. Considering I had a 3.98 GPA in high school, took basically all honors/AP courses, and had an old SAT of 1470, I think I would have been a shoe in. I find it disappointing that it's so difficult to enter the graduate programs after being an undergrad, instead of the way that PCP does it.

Because not only am I going to apply to OSU's pharmacy school, but also a few other places, such as USC, Pacific, and another one on the west coast. It's going to be a hassle tweaking each one of my applications to fit each school, as well as references, essays, the interview, etc...

I have 4 C's 3 B's and 2 A's (and a couple of mulligans:D) throughout the 4-5 semesters I've gone to college. I have no excuse for such grades, I'm just lazy. I'm undecided on what my major might be and really confused on where I'm headed so it's kind of hard to make myself do good. I feel like I'm working towards nothing...therefor it doesnt really matter. Life changing decisions ftl.
I would stop wasting money on classes and find a high paying factory job until you decide on a major.

Could always go to this place in South Carolina (I believe thats where it is). I called up and asked about requirements and what they usually want to get in, and no joke they told me, in a heavy *** southern accent, "We would like a 950 on your SATs if at all possible". After I got off the phone I nearly died of laughter.

My school's PhD program requires an 1100. It's a state school. I never claim it to be Harvard...but it means alot around here. 100 miles away it is worthless, but I don't want to live anywhere else.

my grades were just posted today....not too bad for my first semester, i think.

I'm just guessing that he took the English Comp II this semester and it is just showing the English Comp I credit he got from his Advanced Placement class in high school (AP). Just a guess...

I was doing half way decent with 5 semesters at a 3.0, then my dumbass quit going this semester and didnt withdraw so I got 4 F's for this semester and 2 F's from last semesters classes because he put it as an incomplete because I was out the last ****ING WEEK!!! So my GPA is now down the drain...

yeah, the AP grades are from Advanced Placement classes in high school, and since this is my first semester, they showed up as current classes.

an "AB" is a grade in between an A and a B, and factors as a 3.5 in the GPA. It's kind of like getting extra GPA points for a B+. We also have B/C and C/D grades as well. not all professors give the A/B, B/C grades because every professor can make their own grading scale, but most do. it helps your GPA if you are borderline
