I took physics this semester but absolutely hated it and just couldn't force myself to study or care.

I could have easily gotten an A, but didn't try or care so i got a B.

I do like physics, and luckily i outlived the old professor who was teaching it, although i guess it woudlve been cool to learn from a guy who was born the same year as newton ( joke of coarse ) but this guy had been teaching at CU for the past 50 years.... lol

I hate it.

I hate all science except for social science.

I'm a liberal arts type.

ah that explains it,

I hate anything that isn't concrete, ie music that can be interpreted many ways. Also not a huge fan of literature that can be interpreted many ways

Ouch, I just looked at my Transript from University of North Florida, supposidly one of the harder/Best universities in the south. GPA of a 1.73. thats with 61 credit hours. I wish i would have studied a lot harder. But I am glad that i joined the Marine Corps because it has trained me in a valuable job (Air Traffic Control), that is well paying, and also colleges will award you credits for the training undergone and the r/w experience. Also, i have gained another valuable asset which is the discipline to actually study and attend classes which im sure will help me greatly when i have the time to so college classes again. But to Faulkton and Flip, and Fast1one i congradulate you on your grades, different majors across the board but i only wish i had the patiene that you all do especially faulkton with the social classes. i failed those everytime i attempted them and i actually attended those classes and did all of the work. i just Fail at socioloy.

I hate being bothered with details. I like to think of everything on broad theoretical terms.

Me too. I am not a very good runner. Or shooter. Or swimmer. Or listener. Or fighter.

The beauty of finance is in the details. That is how you determine the Enrons from the better companies. Everything was there on the cash flow statements...But people would rather get their advice from MSNBC rather than actually looking at a financial statement.

True, Being a Marine is not easy, but from what i remember neither was being a full time college student who also worked a job full time. It's even more difficult to be a MARRIED Marine full time and do college courses part time.. Time management>spending time with wife>ME

edit: i seriously hope there is no Gomer Pyle here... The last thing we need is more suicidal Marines
