post your bike!!!

Don't get me started on wrecks...
lawl...

After that, it was only the "twist" ( I know theres a better, more official word for it but I cant remember) at Leguna where I dumped into the wall...

And the last one was at Road Atlanta into some tires cause, no joke, I sneezed...

I love the OPs bike but don't have the patience to read this whole thread to the inevitable petty argument all 6 page threads become.

But before passing out....styling of it is super badass...what is it?

also - better question in hopes of not derailing too bad: Always loved bikes but the only thing i've ever ridden is a low hp dirt bike............how many of you have gotten ****ed up from wrecks? Thats honestly the only thing that keeps me from getting a bike (or a fast car for that matter), I tend to like high speeds but obviously even with the best driver (not that I am) you are going to run a certain risk of shit outside of your control ****ing up.

it is a chicane, but at leguna THEY named it the corkscrew. I was happy enough to go to the GP races in 05. Man, those bikes would probably scare me to try and ride. It would be like going from a stock civic to a top fuel drag. Still a great race to watch, especially in person. You could feel the bikes every time they passed. Crazy!!!

I've been through a few, But as long as you have the right protective gear (jacket, gloves, boots, HELMET) most of the time its not too bad. But I have seen some exceptions.

of course the worst wrecks I have seen have been from those riding crazy.(running from cops with a passenger, stunting without gear, not paying attention to whats ahead, or common errors from freaking out from coming in to hot to a corner.

Been there...tried hanging with a few friends on a beach run (not literally the beach, just the road that parallels the beach is twisty in some parts). Got to a section where there was some construction, and they slowed down but I didn't take notice; went through at about 80, leaning about 30* left and hit some loose dirt. Bike got squirrelly, I went into a tank slapper and then hit the deck sliding into oncoming traffic. Messed up my knee and legs pretty bad and my lower back took a rough hit but my jacket saved my skin...
EDIT: That was 5 years ago next week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Try hitting some Squid at 90mph doing a stoppie on the highway.

I took his Leftside peg, Shifter, the whole bracket and all off with my right hand. The brake lever wrapped around my fingers and grip. Broke four fingers, Tore my nuckles open to the bone, Wrist broke. My hand was the size of a mellon for 4 months!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

Never laided it down, I just pulled the clutch in and parked it, Then passed out.

The bike had right light tore out, Clip-on bent and all the controls. Gas tank had a dent from where my wrist hit it. They did more damage loading it then the wreck. They bent the triple tree, both rims had all the paint removed on the edges and the fairings were broke.

also it seems that threads that i post in drunk will see approximately 15 more of my posts, whereas threads posted in sober will see perhaps 2.

This is a trend that I expect will result in an analysis that causes me to kill myself.

I've had some nasty spills. It's what lets you know if your really ready for it or not...if you don't sell your bike right away, I guess your ready. But sometimes your not so lucky as too even walk away....your choice.
