Personally i think something DOES need to be done, but NOT to your average owners....no. It is more of a problem with these lame *** street gangs walking around with packs of pitbulls trained to be mean.

Require a background check and a license with a small fee or something.

Yea I thought they passed a law in KY that you had to regester the pit bulls and rotts and pay for a licensse every year to own that breed. My pit is the best dog Ive ever had.
