Post pics of your TV on the wall

How does that connect to a junction box?
yeah, i searched google as well and i guess it's just a slang term that we use for the clips... those are one hole straps and would not help you...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I use those to hold down conduit.
That is what came up when I searched jiffy clip.

The low voltage j-boxes being suggested didn't work when I tried to match them up at lowe's.

If the little "dog ear" thing that works when the screw is tightened works, I will just buy a normal blue one and cut the back off of it.

It won't hurt anything but why do you want to cut the back off it?

i would just buy the bracket with the boxes already attached to it like the link i posted... you're gonna have to buy them both anyways...

the hardest part will be routing the wires from the outlets on the floor to the new box you install... more than likely you have insulation in your walls that (depending on how tightly packed) is very difficult to "fish" wires through... you'll need something like a fish tape or fiberglass rods to push down the wall from the new hole you cut to where the existing wires are. attach (tape) to the rod/fish tape and pull them up to the new hole.

this is after you cut the power off and un tap the wires from the outlets of course.... hopefully the builders didn't tack or secure the romex to the studs all the way down to the box or else you'll have a hell of a time pulling it...

Because I am running a HDMI cable, coaxial cable, S-video, and optical cable through it.
I see.

Good point on the insulation. Flip, is this going to be on an interior or exterior wall?

I think I have either I am suggesting something terribly wrong or I am miscommunicating.

1. Put the tv on the wall with a hole behind it.

2. Run the wires from the back of the TV straight down the wall aprox 4' to another hole about 12" from the floor.

3. The wires coming out from the hole will either go to my receiver, PS3, or the outlet on the wall, depending.
