There is a guy at work who has this. He is given like $500 for a year's medical expenses and then the insurance kicks in anything over $5k. I think he is going to get some sunglasses as well.

If I person wants to accept more risk, why can't they? I mean, are ya'll people just walking around with money in savings?

excellent suggestion.. during the school year there is a school nurse.. who you can see as a student.. she basically looks at you and sends you to the real doctor down the street.. i use that shit... but the office is closed during the summer.. smalls school.

In TN....we kinda do/kinda don't. It was dissolved kinda. I mean they may come from 50 miles away or they may not.

Our city chose not to get a real fire department. They would raise our property taxes, which is fine because ordinarily that would be offset by cheaper homeowner's insurance. Several people called and it would cost them a couple hundred bucks a year because no real discount from the insurance companies.

It doesn't bother me. Everything I own can be replaced in a trip to Wal-Mart and Lowe's. I'd assume the cat would get out alive...I hope she isn't that stupid.

in korea old people do this. I dont know if they get paid or what.. but early in the morning there are always old people wandering around picking up trash and recyclables.
