Guess what. I lettered in sports all four years of high school without breaking my back and then I went on to graduate with honors from college. You can call it luck of the draw if you want, but I'm going to call it not stupid.

No, I agree with you on the fact that I made stupid decisions when I was 15-18 but it was purely based on a drive to succeed. So your better than me because of that?

You see the difference between me and you is I was extremely talented at what I did and worked hard at it. I actually had opportunities, I didn't just play.

i dont qualify because i am a student.. for a student to get anything like that.. food stamps ect... you have to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.. which would then mean you made too much money to qualify....

now if i wanted to drop out of school... i could get it...

something seems wrong here but i cant quite figure out what..

but even if i qualified.. i probably wouldnt apply.. seems like a lot of work and i get by just fine..

it still pisses me off when a stupid eye infection cost $240 ... especially when it was cured for $20 a couple of months ago..

In our severely capitalized economy the money in tax dollars it would take to successfully implement a socialized health care system would better be used to create jobs such as reversing the crumbling infrastructure of the entire nation. In turn, that money earned by hired workers accomplishes rebuilding the roads, bridges, and water systems of America (which are over-all in drastically terrible and declining condition), While giving those that cannot currently afford health care the means to afford it through wages and employment by state and government agencies with insurance and benefit packages available.

When I was in college the school itself offered a program. Does yours not do this?

excellent suggestion.. during the school year there is a school nurse.. who you can see as a student.. she basically looks at you and sends you to the real doctor down the street.. i use that shit... but the office is closed during the summer.. smalls school.
