I don't know why I'm even arguing because you people scarcely acknowledge that anyone but yourselves has the right to be alive. but yes you have the right as a living being to go to places to need to go to. It's exactly like i said:
Water was once free if you could find it. Now you have to pay city water bills or pay someone to drill a well, or buy bottled water.

Food was once free (hunting, planting), now you go to fast food places, restaurants, grocery stores and pay.

Transportation was once free, you go on foot, animal, now you pay for cars trucks, trains etc. and ever rising fuel prices.

I've said this so many times I'm getting blue in the face. Almost every so called "technological advancement" has been more detrimental to the human race than beneficial in the name of increasing profits. All these things are just exploitations of resources that humans should rightfully be able to obtain naturally for them self.

Everything you just said, you can stil get for free.

You can still hunt year round and get food.

You can still walk anywhere you want.

Its just that all those things you mentioned are tons easier than getting it for yourself, therefor you pay money to get it because its CONVENIENT. We pay everyday for convenience. Its what inventions and technology do, make things convenient to make our lives easier.

I really don't think you believe that. It has to be troll bait. I agree to an extent that seeing people exhibit more compassion would be nice, but there is no way you can feel society is obligated to carting people around. I refuse to believe you are THAT stupid.

None of these things where ever free. What we have done is shifted work from labor to service and therefore specialized.

I grow my own food and I can tell you it is not free. Many many hours go into it.

It is just as free now as it ever was. If you want to dig a ditch like they use to, go for it. If you want to drink from the river, go for it. Hell, as far as I can tell, I'm not charged to use drinking fountains.

#1 this means that transportation is just as much a human right as any othe right.

#2 you cant just drill a well yourself anywhere. you have to purchase licences to hunt and licences to buy equiptment to hunt or buy land because of this awesome technological advancement we've come up with called "owning land" the indians didn't even understand the concept. they thought the settlers were retarded trying to posses something like earth. It has no intrisic value.

#3 The amish are doing just fine because they don't accept many of these advancements while the rest of the US goes to pot because of the fiscal requirements of popular society.
