Post office done screwed me over

I made an order from Darvex.com about 3 weeks ago who I have bought from twice before with fast shipping and without no problems with USPS. So 2 weeks ago i started to wonder why it hasn't come in the mail yet so i check my email to find the confirmation number and when i check it, it says it has been delivered. In my head i go WTF //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif and i guessed it was a mistake and waited a few more days for it to come in. By Tuesday of the 2nd week, i called the post office and they said they will check for it. They call me back the same day and say they don't have it and they will check again Wednesday. Come Wednesday i call them and they tell me to call the next day at 830 AM so i could talk with the carrier. I call them at 830 AM the next day and they put me on hold for over an hour and i still couldn't get to talk to the carrier. The lady on the phone then tells me to call back Saturday morning and now i question her what if the box got lost or what if the carrier delivered it to the wrong house and she turns it on me and says what if your package got stolen outside your door and i tell her BS that it has never happened to me before in my life living here and she tells me that either i can call them back Saturday at 830 AM to talk to the carrier or i can make a complaint to the supervisor (like that will help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif )

At this point i don't know what to do. The value of this stuff was over $40 bucks and all the USPS can do is say it got stolen outside my house and they aren't liable when i know **** well they always deliver wrong mail to the wrong house, hell it happens to me all the time i get my neighbors mail and one time i could of walked away with a new lcd screen.

So what do i do here? I haven't called Darvex yet because this isnt their fault, it's the post office.

To sum it up if you don't want to read that all ^^^

- I buy something from Darvex

- It gets shipped out via USPS

- I don't receive package, make an complaint to USPS

- USPS are being assholes when I've been perfectly reasonable with them.

- What to do now?

call up darvex and see whats going on if not keep complaining and see maybe talk to a small claims lawyer if things get out of hand

Same exact thing happened to me, I was only out 40$ but it pissed me off hardcore. I couldn't win with them.

make complaints with supervisors then supervisors supervisors if need be. Don't keep trying to get stuff out of the little phone answerin people, they probably dont have the pull to fix anything for you anyway.

Same exact thing also happened to me. Darvex via USPS. WTF.

I kept after the P.O. and one morning I woke up and the package was on my front porch. Had to have been put there around 3 or 4 am. No idea how it happened, but it hadn't been opened and everything was fine.

I've known my carrier for more than 10 years and I've always suspected he did something to track it down. I went down to the Post Office to make my inquiry and they weren't terribly helpful. The supervisor started saying that this is why it is important for people to know their carriers and completely changed her tone when I identified him by name.

Strange stuff. Go there in person and don't leave until they open an investigation.

Dunno what to do here. The carrier was sick and has been for my route and some other guy has been delivering my mail. He already made one sure mistake by putting my magazine in my neighbor's box. Im glad my neighbor was nice enough to give it to me. So even if i do make a complaint at the post office, what good will that do? Ive seen rowdy customers/ones that ask too many questions at the post office and the post office people get pissed and even ignore them as well as people in line....

Another coincidence - my guy was sick at the time too. Be polite when you go in there, who knows?
