I have a problem with the sound system in my car, I have an alpine head unit which i brought about 2 years ago along with focal front and rear speakers, about 6 months ago i had a probelm with this system, suddenly the bass on my speakers became tinny and there was realy no bass at all, i thought i had blown my speakers, so i brought a new set of speakers, i set this up with the old head unit and after 10 mins of running very well the bass again cut out. The odd thing is if you unplug the head unit for a few mins then plug it back in again the bass comes back for 10mins before going tinny again. does any one have an idea what could be wrong, i was thinking it could be my head unit but i am not sure.
