havent had a chance to shoot it yet, need to get somewhere to get some ammo first and new scope mounts the ones i have are obviously going to be to short. the scope came off of my .243 when i got a new one. should do the trick for now

I picked up an AR a few weeks ago. I just put an EoTech 512 holosight on it.

Look into Aimpoint, EOTech, and Trijicon sights.

IMO, ditch the scope, go with a red-dot, or red-dot/magnifier combo.
