ill keep that in mind when im shopping around. any particular why they arnt liked? prices are similar between them all.also, arnt almost all AR parts 'universal'? so couldnt other makes parts be used on others bottom recievers? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
rock rivers is considered one of the finest ars on the market. only high quality parts go into them, extremely well built and reliable. dpms is right there with them. bushmaster has slid down the scale a bit due to them feeling cheaper, not quite as solid.
other quality brands are cmmg, dsa, patriot arms(they make a majority of parts for everybody else) and alexander arms.
the s&w m&p 15s are getting a good rep, especially for price. any gas piston system is going to fun extra and are finally getting proven.
my armalite m15 with 2 stage match trigger, mid length foreend, m4 flattop reciever with a2 front sight, m4 buttstock, wilson combat heavy barrel, trijcon front sight, hogue grip and winter trigger guard is a falking gem though. it's my duty rifle in the car and i wouldn't trade it for just about anything except the dsa gps, with patriot arms gas piston system.
any of the brands that's been listed/mentioned would be a good purchase. if it's a standard gas impingment system, the secert is keeping it cleaned and lubed. and if good ammo is bought, keeping it lubed is the key.
