Possible Fi BL Build Questions

Why not slant the face OR back of the box so that you could fit the sub there instead of on top. In other words, it would look more like a "wedge" type box. The slanted front piece would provide you with more height to mount the sub, while not making the overall height of the box any greater. Does that make sense? /_|

 
I heard the same thing about having a sub facing up in a trunk. A couple people I know did a single 15 or 18 facing up and liked it.
That's good. I think I may try it. But I will be PISSED if it doesn't sound good, as I will be using birch plywood and it is expensive as hell.

I've got an intrepid too, what kind of setup do you have?

That would probably get loud. I've had a few single 12" setups of 1.5kw and got decently loud considering my seats don't fold.

I think I am going to try the box and see how it is.
