i know there are a few trucks out there that have done this but i cant find pictures of any of them. im looking to see how the port is placed where the window was. and also looking to see what kind of setups were run in the installation.

anyone have pics?

In a nutshell he took out the back window and placed a box there. The enclosure was on a makeshift kinda table just to keep it propped up into place.

This seems like the smart way to do a blow through, since you can easily turn your truck back to stock when you're gettin ready to sell it.. I would love to do this to my truck, but i hate the look of camper shells on Dodge 1500's.. Haha..

any more pics? im thinking of doing some sort of a bandpass for 4 18s through the rear window.

even though my truck is old i still cant get my self to cut into it so just popping out the windows and throwing on a boot sounds the best to me.

but i have never done any sort of bandpass so im completely lost

cause you need to watch some masta ace videos
dude it aint that hard, its like a trunk car except the subs sit up top, not down low, think about it
but i dont want my subs in the rear window i want the rear window to be a port.

not like the truck above where the box is just in the window on some stand that holds it there i want my box from the floor up with the port going in the window

build a bandpass box and have the port through the window area. Just make a filler plate to fill up all the extra space the port does not take up...pretty easy man.

I thinkin I should do a 4th order like this.
Think a boot would still work to weatherproof it?

Always wanted to do a 4th order like that. Something a regular ported box just being propped up in the rear windows makes me uneasy in case of a wreck of any decent speed. No matter how well you support the box up there, shits gonna **** in a wreck.

Now subs down low and only the port up top through the window sounds a little safer.

from what i have read it seals just as well as doing a regular blow through just have to have no 90 degree angles so everything seals well.

i wanted to try a 4th order in my truck if i can figure out how to design one

maybe plexi glass to fill in the rest if needed? it would all be based on design..
my thoughts were make a beauty plate that fit snug covering the whole back area above the seats with the port being bolted to that but idk how the frame flexing would like that
