Ported? Sealed? u make the call.

Alright well here's the deal. i haven't been here that long but i did make a post about what subs i should get when i get a car. i have finally narrowed it down to 1-12'' XXX. here's where it gets complicated. i have heard from many people to make ported boxes. but my brother just made his a sealed box. so the dilemma is i need to know oppinions on SEALED or PORTED for my 1-12'' XXX.....let me know!

big ported box tuned low. When i had my XXX it didnt come alive till i ported it. But it did sound **** goo sealed but not loud enough

You can have a sealed setup that overpowers the front stage...or have the crossovers set wrong.
