ported or sealed?

I have a 15" L7 solo-baric, The sealed box specs say it needs 2 cu. ft. of airspace and the ported box says 3-6 cu. ft. I was wondering which is the best to build for this sub and I was wondering if sealed boxes wear subs out quicker than ported, because of the air pressure with a sealed box? thanks.

i would go ported with an l7

If you have the space then go ported. If not, sell it for a different sub to be used sealed.
