Ported Boxes

I have some subs in a smalled sealed box right now.....around 13x26x11....how much louder would if be if I were to make a sealed box tuned to around 38hz with the dimensions of 16x30x14 (LxWxH)???? I have notice that ported boxes also reduce rattling in the car because the box doesnt vibrate as much...is that true??? Thanks

it would pry get louder, i prefer ported boxes myself but i have a sealed because i just dont have enough room to go ported

The lower hz your box is tuned to, then you will get deeper bass. The higher the tuning, you will drop some of that really low bass, but you may gain some loudness.
