I just joined here, posting all the way from Australia.
Anyway, here's my question:
Say you have one sub, ex: Fi Q12 on a set amount of power say 1000wrms at a set tuning frequency of say 28Hz... On Fi's site, they recommend a ported enclosure ranging from 1.8 to 2.5 cuft.
So if all of the above stayed constant what difference would there be in the sound of a 1.8cuft vs a 2.5cuft. I assume you'll lose some output, but what else? maybe more or less punchy? different Frequency response?
So yeah, I'm not after any recommendations, just trying to gain some understanding.
