WinISD predicts qtc of 0.95 in a 1.5 cu ft box. Usable, but it looks like 1.5 cu ft box is a bit small for it. As for the 10 inch Ultimax, you get 0.7 qtc in a 1 cu ft box or 0.8 in a 0.6cu ft box. Much better.

Personally, I am still waiting for opportunity to try out Dayton HF subwoofers. Their power handling and xmax excursion seem low, but these are supposed to be pure SQ drivers, with low inductance, with great performance on Klippel. Unfortunately, these don't seem very popular in car audio. The HF12 is clearly designed for bigger sealed box, more suited for home audio, but the HF10 seems usable (about 0.8-1cu ft sealed box for a good box qtc)
