will it sound like ***? looking to add some better rock bass. but want to keep the rap bass too? running 1- 8" now in 1.0cf slot ported box tuned to 40 hz. want to add some spl too. anyone know the website for dd?

The power handling of the two subs would be less for the ported sub and more for the sealed. Idk really how it would sound but it sounds like it would work out fine. Not my cup of tea but I dont think it would be a bad idea to at least try.

If it dont work then do something else.

First, two different subs = very bad.

three, stick with slot ported @ lower tuning. Done correctly you can gain SPL and retain SQ.
