Port of A 4th Order

It's def not you. Some people have a hard time getting one.....but takes practice and testing. Not something that can be done overnight. You read what Jeff's buddy did...

 
6 sa 12 in a flatwall can get downright nasty. Me personally, i prefer the sound of flatwalls. I think they are more brutal... and ive heard many 60+ flats, 4ths, and 6ths

 
yeah, 4th order will kill higher frequencies super fast like literally dead a few hz right after port tuning, I would not recommend it. You'll have much better luck with flatwall with what you want. Thats basically the ideal bandwidth you achieve with flatwall but you'll play a bit lower as well down to 25hz or so and still hurt in the 50hz range.
Ummm....no, not even close to correct information. My 4th plays 25-60hz rather loudly as do most that I build. All about sealed size, ratio, port tuning. Lot of guys build 4ths to play into the teen, so those will fall off and octave or so higher but that's not the "typical" 4th....

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
