Popping sub...

The sub in our home theatre, a Bowers and Wilkins I think, (about 150W IIRC) made a few pops tonight. We were watching War of The Worlds and a few places in the start the sub made an occasional higher-pitched "pop". Through the second half of the movie all was ok though.

What could be the matter?

My only guess is over excursion. Like a quick pow from the movie or something lol. My 6x8's (pos's) in my car occasionaly pop in my car.

Yea, probably. The sub is about 8 years old now I guess, and who knows how much use the last owners of the house gave it...
