Polk SR Series

I heard this sub for the first time today, and I have to admit that the SQL from this sub is very nice. I was at my local shop today and a guy had two of the SR10D4's running off of some 1500w MTX amp. He had a box tuned to 32hz, that I thought was extremely undersized, but per Polk's specs it was okay. I heard a few songs and test tones from them, and the response and low's were excellent. The sub had no "Bottoming Out" problems from what I could tell. I was not able to see the basket design, due to it being mounted, but I did see the pics of it from Polk's website.

I usually stay away from mainstream companies, just because I like having different stuff from other enthuiasts, but I think I will have to try these out. I will probably start the box build in a few weeks, but I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these bad boys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

What other sub(s) does it compare to. Maybe a D6?

I would say it compares to a W6, although it handles more power. One of my favorite subs. I think they sound much better sealed though.
