Polk Speakers With Jl Audio Amp

I've got the JL Audio 320x4 rull range 4 channel amp and I'm going to be using that to power polk audio speakers: 6x9 in the back, 6 1/2 in the front, and 2 tweeters on the dash. Does this sound like a good setup? I currently have infinity speakers that feel like they're cutting my eardrums whenever I turn the volume up so I'll swap those for Polk speakers.

polk are way way better than infinity infinity have always had shrill harsh sounding highs.

all day long unless you are talking alpine pros they are pretty **** good.

and fwiw i sell all those brands but the alpines so it isnt a **** and bull story lol the db or mm series are both **** nice for the money. whether you buy from me or not i dont care but always get the best you can the first time around

Pioneer PRS speakers are better than anything Polk has out.

Why limit yourself to those brands though? Check out Image Dynamics or Hertz, they make some nice speakers.

yes very true but they are spendy but also well worth it.

i forget about the PRS all the time good point man.

for the money id ctx great stuff man. woofers ect has some smoking deals on them for about 180 or so.

On crutchfield.com I see 39 people gave the alipine sps-600 speakers 5 stars...probably can't go wrong with those either

the type s are actually just a stock type replacement. they are fair at best the prs Ekim posted are the best option yet other than maybe the ctx

Both are very good value for the money. The PRS really perform well.

The polk SR6500 are an amazingly smooth clear sounding speaker...but you pay for the sound.
