Polk audio?

go with the dxi-460p its a little bit nicer with the 3" round mid and separate tweeter. can handle a little more power. Oval speakers always sound a little off in my opinion.

I guess i worded that poorly. to me an oval speaker such as a 4x6 compared to a comparable sized round speaker the round speaker will sound better. The oval speaker would have a larger cone area if were comparing the dxi460 and 460p so i guess you could get more low end response from it but overall i like the sound out of the round speaker. Could be the fact that I'm not comparing them apples to apples or haven't heard an hi end oval speakers. I did however compare the 460 and 460p apples to apples (as best I could on a board) and preferred the sound out of the 460p better so that's why I gave that recommendation.
