If the port side is truly your bottom panel as it's labeled, you might end up choking that port a tad bit. FYI. Otherwise, solid construction.

how do you say it's a poorly thought through? have you seen a large restriction port in action? i've been thinking about it for a year, but on a 4th order reflex.....i think it can work well on a band-pass as well.......and, you are missing the point. yes, i can build whatever that has been done before with my nice drivers, but you take the nice drivers out of the equation and focus on new box design ideas, and everyone gets new ideas...

and then what? i have a shitload of left-over mdf and particle board goin to the dump, probably tomorrow........an hour or so to build one....... i shared my idea, and will put it to work on bigger builds later......... and nobody seems to be interested in thinking about different *****.......... guess i'll just go putz around with my 1 idea
