just looking for a better way to get the most value out of the money... like the guys are saying the shop is a lil pricey and I think I'm gonna end up doing some more research on what I am getting.

As for the other uses of the money I got them covered.

so there all the cheap azz plastic style ones you see everywhere? (for the mount kit) **** looks like I'll be customizing one of those a lil. I might use the .5 din I'll have extra for a switch bank for my lighting and jammers/scanner power.

Why does it matter? A wiring harness is hidden from view, so who cares if it's just plastic and wires...

Also, RE10's from RE Audio are only 5" deep and you can probably get them for $67 each. Might not be as good as the LI's, but that's because the RE series is entry-level and the LI's aren't.

you always want to have a good front stage, so choosing good components would be helpful. also make sure you deaden your door. there is a good thread on how to do it stickied in the speaker forum. look into some boston acoustic pros for components. then get an amp that does 250 watts rms x2 at 4 ohms (you'll get slightly more power since the set is 3 ohms)

use monster cable speaker wire, becuase it is wound on a 45degree angle and is realy good wire. and do the work urself ur going to spend so much money on having it all installed. if u buy everything and drive down to lansing me and my buddy will install it all. and is the reason u need 5" deep subs becuase ur going to use that mtx box?

Lansing is not that far from BC....

If I but this stuff and get it how much would you guys charge to install it? I need the fronts Bi-amped and the install job's gotta be super clean and super tight..... and I need it done before thrs oct 6th

COMPS it's either Eclipse SC8365 or BA pro60's ..........which ones??? grr need to hear them both.....

i would go with the pros over the eclipse comps. you might want to look into rockford amps. very underrated and solid amps. also you want to feed those pros atleast 250 watts rms. you could look into PG amps. underrated and make rated power at 1-4 ohms, so very versitale. you are also forgeting deadener. http://www.secondskinaudio.com

For 3200 bucks, that could be a down payment on a house....instead of car audio. But tha'ts just me...

Thats only a start to having a down payment. If you want a real loan with low rate and no PMI you'll need quite a bit more. 3200 won't even cover closing costs on most homes

I guess you can say when I want a house I got that already... my gpa's inheritance has provided me in 94' $28,000 which is now lingering around 36k or something so by the time I am 28 in 2008 it will be in the 40's and I don't care who you are 40k is a **** nice down payment on any house I would want. I'm more interested in garage space ond on the ocean than anything else. and definitely not Cali cost too much to get rapped by dumb laws there. Luckily I got 1 year left in MI, 3-5 years in FL, then off down under....

So the money is going on stereo for the truck any left over will go for more flight gear. I would normally not dare drop this money in such a cause but it is the right time to in my life so...
