So a few days ago I posted a thread called "What About This?!?!? " and another one called "need 2 10's that are 5" in depth MAX! " well so many questions I got from those two so.

the truck: 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T w/ Infinity 30amp 2 ohm stock prem sound including front 6.5" 2-ways w/ 1" tweets in doors. Rear 6.5" 1 ways in cab section.

The for sures

1. HU :Eclipse CD8455

2. Rear sub box:MTX thunderform Dakota box (http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products...es/DDXP201.cfm)

The best fit for the sub so far

2-10" Incriminator Audio "lethal Injection series"

-Where can I purchase these and how much??

The unknowns: All of the below I NEED help on picking to complete my system. I live in Battle Creek, MI 49015. Also have great acess to Royal Oak, MI 48073. I want to have the equipment professionally installed and tuned as well. Need a system that sounds good, looks clean and is not going to blow even after hours of pounding.

Hardware etc...(the more blue in color the better)

1. Dash-kit (want VERY High Quality one)

2. Harness (same as above)

3. 2ga. pwr kit (prefer the color blue but not a must. )

4. RCA's front and rear (ones suggested by shop were XABluAIC 418 + 218)

5. speaker wire (prefer blue and flexible, TOP quality)

Amps (need to have thermal/ safety shutdowns and handle the speakers/subs

1. component amp (one suggested by shop was JL300/4)

( also was going to be bi-amped)

2. sub amp -check the woofers and let me know what will work.

Speakers

1. Front components (shop suggested Eclipse SC8365's and I like em as well, any other top suggestions? holes in doors are 6.5's and 1" tweeter.

I still plan on having the shop or a pro install and wire this up. I don't want to mess anything up so. I will most likely purchase the deck and components from the shop and the subs, amps, and whatever else from your recommendations. I am looking for place and great products total $ wanting to spend is a cap of 3200 bucks the less the better obviously. deck is 600 and components are 450 so theres the first 1050 problem.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP- please think before you reply about the system and where to purchase the what will be purchasing in less then 10 days so....

first off wire is wire. get all your speaker wire, dash kit, and wiring harness at walmart. did you look into some soundsplinter rl-i's? not sure if they have the mounting depth you need (http://www.soundsplinter.com) the headunit you chose is an excellent choice. thos LI's will be decent too. you have to go http://www.incriminatoraudio.com and either e-mail or cal for a price quote. they are rather cheap and i believe you can pick up a pair for about $300. as far as a subwoofer amp goes, you might want to look into something that will do 700-1000 watts rms. given your budget, the choices are endless. i personally like crossfire amps. they are very efficient, make rated power at 12.5 volts, and are underrated. the VR1000D would work well. also cadence, orion, phoenix gold, rockford, kicker, and memphis make good amps. for your power wire, i would go 1/0 gauge and not 2 gauge. again wire is wire. check http://www.knukonceptz.com for a kit, or go to http://www.weldingsupply.com for power and ground wire and get your rca's and such elswhere. as for components, it's reall subjective, but some ones you should consider are boston acoustic pros. also make sure to sound deaden your door, and whole car for that matter. http://www.secondskinaudio.com. as for amp for the components, all the brands i listed before make decent 2 and 4 channel amps.

Id go for eclipse titanium 15" with an eclipse amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif pretty good sounding sub and then of course all your wiring and shit and yea, eclipse is nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

did anybody read his post? he wanted 2 10's with a shallow mounting depth, and people keep recommending huge *** 15" xxx //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

x2...I would look into the RL-I's also...IA makes good stuff though

in regards to a mount and wire kit... there are no "high quality" ones. they're al pretty much the same. Unless you build your own.
so there all the cheap azz plastic style ones you see everywhere? (for the mount kit) **** looks like I'll be customizing one of those a lil. I might use the .5 din I'll have extra for a switch bank for my lighting and jammers/scanner power.

---------------------------

as for the 10's thats the only thing that will work as pointed out in my post and another now. (sadly the RL-I's are almost 6" deep)

If I am understanding this right it seems that there are actual two classes of wire in reality. the first is the standard copper, the 2nd is tin coated copper style. I can see what the tin we help with and spiraling the wire will make a diff as well so I think I now have found my Wiring and amp/power kit. Knukonceptz really looks to have good stuff at great prices and so owns the shop prices I got on the other post.

so now I got the

HU

SUBS

and all cables install etc fiqured out....

only the comps and amps to look at

ohh well off to the man sites

if you guys want IM me on yahoo

those LI's are 5 1/8 mounting depth, shouldnt matter you can prolly put a spacer of between the sub and mounting hole, Rlis are like 13.9cm which is like 5.5 or 5.9 or something i dont remember, not many shallow good sounding subs out, i want to try those 3" deep 12s and 15s has anyone heard them?

what are you after for sub? sq or getting loud? or both?

i love my rainbow slc265 components

and i'll go with everyone else get the XXX 15, i love mine:uhoh: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif j/k?
