Probably more than that.....the local shops around me charge at least 150 for a simple sealed MDF box....

wow...and people would pay that much for it...

the plexi has to be real thick considering it flexes more than mdf. i do think it would be well over $200 for a custom job.

Why in god's name would you pay $150 for an MDF box?????? Do you realize one sheet of MDF is only ~$20? and you can cut/glue/screw/paint/carpet/watever a box in less than 2 hours???

I got my sheet cut up at Home Depot, all cuts.. $21 with tax.. took the guy ~30 minutes with distractions.. Since I had all the cuts (mostly) to size, it took me about an hour to build a 10" sealed .. I don't think it would take much longer for the 12"s, other than a few more screws (but I think I over did it on the one I have, like 10 screws a side, 12x12 and 6 on the 9x12 side)..

Anyway, I got some cordless tools (skill saw, drill, jig saw, sander, light) for ~$130.. 18v.. and I now have the parts for 4 boxes (for the same $150 you spent for one box).. just have to paint them (or something) so they aren't so bright //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
