I think a new installer would do the trick...

If something's toasterized in the vehicle itself, simply changing out the harness isn't going to do anything, that's locking the barn after the horse has left...

Might as well replaced the ghetto'ed wiring though.

Sounds like the damage has already been done. . . . . You might've fried the car's computer, which could = a loooot of money for you.
